Advisory Council Teacher Training for Upper Secondary Schools (Advisory Council LLBM)

The Advisory Council LLBM advises the Executive Board of the University, the Advisory Body LLBM, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and the Institute of Education of the University of Zurich on important matters concerning teacher education at secondary schools.

The Advisory Council LLBM facilitates information exchange and communication among

• decision-makers of the teacher training for the secondary school program of the University of Zurich
• the Department of Education of the Canton of Zurich
• the principals' conference of secondary schools of the Canton of Zurich
• the conference of rectors of the technical schools of the Canton of Zurich
• the conference of teachers of gymnasiums of the Canton of Zurich
• the conference of teachers of vocational schools of the Canton of Zurich
• Zurich University of Teacher Education (PHZH)
• Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK)

It aims to identify trends in training and continuing education in secondary schools at an early stage and facilitate discussions at the University of Zurich concerning the need to innovate and explore options in training and further development of teachers for secondary schools.
